Air sampling
In some situations, air samples can be useful in determining spore load or pre and post remediation samples. Air sampling on its own is not particularly useful, as we have mold in the air year-round in Wisconsin.
Remediation
Using our experience in asbestos work we are capable of building negative pressure enclosures to help prevent dust and spores from being introduced to areas outside of the workspace. Handling the materials with dust mitigating engineering controls similar to what is implemented in asbestos work, is an additional work practice to designed to keep the spread of spores to a minimum.
chemical treatement
If the moldy material cannot be removed and disposed of, we have some options available to treat materials in place. Attics are a common area to be treated for mold stains when the decking and trusses wont be removed. Post remediation treatment is usually a good idea as well.
